Our leadership

Grace Church Didcot is led by a team of elders. Currently we have two elders:

Jim Sayers and his wife Helen live in Didcot on Great Western Park. Jim trained for ministry in Scotland. He was previously pastor of Kesgrave Baptist Church in Suffolk for 14 years, and then served for 11 years as Communications Director of Grace Baptist Mission in Abingdon. He is also chairman of Praise Trust. They have three adult children.

Ian Flanders was involved in missions work in France for fourteen years, including participation in a church planting project. Since 2003 he has been a member of the Grace Baptist Mission radio team, based in Abingdon, where he produces a French language Bible teaching radio programme that is widely aired throughout francophone Africa and elsewhere. Ian joined the leadership of Grace Church Didcot in February 2023. He is married to Hélène and they have two adult children.

Our elders are supported by a team of deacons, and we actively encourage all church members to find their role in serving in the church.
