We meet for Sunday worship at 10:30am every Sunday morning at the Southern Community Centre. Our worship is simple, centred around God’s word the Bible. Everything we do – singing, praying, reading the Bible and expounding its message through preaching – is all soaked in Scripture. We expect God to speak to us through his word by the Holy Spirit convicting us and calling us to change.
Our style is relaxed, there is no dress code, and we try to make everything accessible to someone who wouldn’t normally come to church. All the song words are projected on a screen, and we provide Bibles and give you the page number for the Bible reading. We sing five or six songs and hymns, and sometimes a modern version of a psalm, all themed to fit with the Bible message. We include the children in the first part of our worship with a children’s talk. We regularly celebrate the Lord’s Supper together as a sign of what it means to be a local church together in Christ. From time to time, we will hold a special service of baptism on a Sunday morning for someone who has become a Christian.
